life of the party

My Mother has always been the life of a party.  Just last week a letter arrived extolling the virtues of a holiday party that she attended where every room spelled Christmas.  Last friday she attended another party and she and my father (85 years young) both, unfortunately fell down a flight of steps.  I am flying down to help and honor my parents for all the life they have given.  Being one of seven, we have all joined forces to do what each of us can and should do.

Life is a gift and we do need to celebrate every minute.

I'm so sorry to hear such a freak accident has happened to both your parents. I hope they'll recover quickly. You are a good daughter to take care of them. Have a safe trip.

Sending good thoughts your way and wishing your parents a speedy recovery. Its such a blessing to have a supportive family. Without a doubt they will be grateful to be in your care, but probably annoyed they missed a party. ; ) ~ C xo

Saying prayers for you and your parents - being loved on seems to mystically strengthen healing and recovery I think. Glad you'll get to be there with and for them.

Patricia,
Just seeing this.....wishing your parents a complete recovery. My step father-in-law fell down our new flight of stairs over the holidays and I felt horrible every time I saw him nursing his arm.

Safe travels....xoxo Elizabeth
