Lady Chapel

pve design illustration- wedding ceremony at the chapel
Here is a close up of the chapel illustration from the wedding.
The idea is just to capture the moment and not to compete with the wedding photographer.
This is the lovely chapel where the wedding took place.
Who could forget the altar, the windows, the height of the ceiling - all of it heavenly.

I love old churches! The shapes of the windows, pews and altar are exquisite. Can you image the hours it took to build this church? I love the feeling you captured with the couple at the altar. A perfect place for a perfect beginning. xoxo

this will be fun - to see the wedding thru your brush- can't wait for the installments.

I love the drawing - it's so nicely framed, as a marriage is - with family, community, and the dear Lord.

I like the way you use your lines. Very simple and elegant. Must have been fun to do this.

A grand yet tender rendering. Perfect. You are so "present" with your sketching. I want to see more; please hold nothing back from us! (I like your illustration of the church better than the photo).

Thank-you, I am humbled by your thoughtful words.
There is something about capturing these tender moments of awe. I see a beautiful life, a gracious one unfolding whilst I illustrate. A happily ever after from a perfect start.

GORGEOUS! Your illustration brings out so much of the character-something that the photo looses.

I think this (wedding) one is my FAVORITE illustration of yours I've seen so far - and that is hard to say because there have been so MANY I love!

That probably is the greatest gift that bride will receive. (with the exception being her groom, hopefully!) What a treasure.
