Quite a chic couple sporting such spiffy duds ready for any dock!
Do you bring along something fun on vacation, a festive happy little skirt.
Paired with a shirt or a little tank, this skirt would take me many places.
Perfect for those who are traveling South of the Border, right?
Are you on board for something sea worthy in your wardrobe or are you more of a land lubber when it comes to fashion?

You and me both - just love nautical style!! I'm looking for a new lightweight striped top because I need more than one - waiting for the ones at chance to restock!!
Stacey (Quintessence)
I hope you will post your stripes after all your research! I love your investigative posts!

PVE - I had to smile since I just received not one, but two, nautically inspired striped tops from J. Crew yesterday! Planning to pair them with capris and ballet flats this spring. And with the warm weather tomorrow, spring might be here sooner than we think!
Gosh you're so clever! I love these drawings...love a nautical look too!

I love the Nautical look...it's classic! I can hardly wait to put away my blacks and grays!
The weather here this week is sunny and warm(ish). It, combined with your classy drawings have put me in the mood the change out my closet for spring clothes. But, I guess I should wait a bit longer yet. I love navy and white together and anything nautical.
Best,
Susan
I'm such a fan of nautical style...dreaming of Springtime!!
I love theses looks but I love your drawings of them even better! xx
Hmmmm perhaps the Look Book should start to your wonderful illustrations!
Just wore their new pink and navy striped boat neck Catalina the other day. It was like walking on sunshine!
posted too soon... meant to say the look book should start to feature some of your illustrations. Nothing like leaving out a word or two!
The illustrations are giving me the spring feeling. Filling my head with memories on our lake and looking forward for new memories. xo
I love this style too and wow to you! What a perfect way you translated them.
Your drawings are fabulous! I love the nautical look too. Timeless.

I smiled when I saw the nautical illustration - so breezy and fun.
I love these drawings! They give me Spring fever!
I did buy a navy/white striped top just last week. ...and I always take a fun skirt with me, wherever I go.
Have a happy day~~
You can never have too many breton shirts! Such a classic. Love the illustrations -- they make we want to pack for vacation!
I love those looks!(as well as your beautiful drawings) But I am now prematurely exciting about spring and summer.:( Gotta find me a similar get up before then. Love your blog!
I am both.
But, I am, I might add, a Pisces.

Love the seaworthy clothing, not big on the sea...although we do go boating all the time in the summer.
So fresh and inspiring!
Love your beautiful illustrations!

I'd say that fully half of Mrs. E.'s sweaters are striped. I pack the sailor's shirts for trips to the beach.
Must be the weather, but I'm aching to break out the white trousers and stripes! That would include my red and white striped espadrilles....
Janet-
The Sandals look like Bernardo sandals but I will ask, the clothes are from J.McLaughlin - my client and wonderful sponsor.

I've always loved the nautical look...but now that I live near the water, it seems even more prevalent in my wardrobe.
Can't wait to get back on the water!!
xo E
they are bernardo sandals and they're on sale now for $109. thanks patricia.

PVE,
I also love the nautical look and style it just oozes destinations unknown. Here's to more vacation time with Spring just around the corner.

Your drawings are so much more inviting than the photos! Love the nautical look on the Mrs. We hit St. James and J.McLaughlins on Madison for the look. Picasso could really pull it off, I just wish I looked as good in a boat neck!
love anything nautical... and these images are so fresh ... they are so fortunate to work with you... you really are such a great match... xoxo
Patricia, I adore nautical style and the sea, the beach, even poolside. Always nice to have several cute and colorful skirts to go shopping lunching etc.
Fabulous illustrations!

I am such a sucker for nautical clothing. Not sure what there is about it, but I love it all!
Look at these shoes that Maryland Pink and Green blogged about. They go hand-in-hand (foot-in-foot) with your post! http://marylandpinkandgreen.blogspot.com/2011/02/nautical-spring.html
I love JMcLaughlin and just bought two of their dresses to spruce up my Spring wardrobe. I also love the nautical look and your drawings are pure perfection.
