a piece of toast

How would you like to wake up to a piece of toast like this smiley one?
I am looking for a vintage toast holder to restore order to my incoming snail mail and a sundry of items, bills etc.
Love this brassy one too for my hubby's desk.
Letters stored like this. Everything in it's place.
Keys on a hook sure make it easy to find.
This one for storing photos and miscellaneous pieces of life.
toasting each of you for a happy day!

I love these also... I see them all over, but have never actually made the plunge... I imagine them in my powder room with napkins for hand washing...
Very charming! I love them for letters on a desk... good idea!

I love this for letters - mail is something I struggle with - perfect idea.

Great idea for incoming mail or notes to oneself. I have no question you will get to that point. How are the renovations going?

Well, you know which one gets my vote! Does an orange box come with purchase? XXOO

ps...I used to have a silver toast holder I used for just such a purpose but I got tired of it tarnishing. I'd suggest silver-plate to avoid the inevitable polish guilt :)

What a great idea. Now you've made me want one too. I need it for my desk. We'll have to both be on the look out.

How charming! I would wake up with a smile if someone took the time to make a smilely on my toast! Such a clever idea, I always knew of them for letter organization but for toast? Brilliant!

That is a terrific idea!! I'll be looking for one at my antique store. I think I'll store reference photos for my paintings. Or maybe prints of my paintings. What a great idea:)

Love your smiley toast!! Even though I have a toast rack like the ones you showed, my desk doesn't look that neat and tidy - next project on the summer agenda!

Love an antique toast rack for mail! I have one...and need to dig it out!

PVE,

So many multi-use items in the world and to think all it takes is a bit of imagination! I like the toast holder for life's bits n' pieces. It makes things simply fun like the toast.

What a great, elegant way to stay organized - have you tried Hotel Silver at Bergdorf's? Ginger always has a great selection of toast caddies.

Would love to see what you get...

I saw a vintage toast holder at the antiques co-op on Boston's Charles Street a couple of weeks ago! It was in the glass case right by the cash register.
