monday mojo series 1

Welcome monday morning motivator Kayce Hughes. Kayce, thanks for your great tips.
We all need a little inspiration on Monday for a little mojo charm.

Motivation;

It feels a little funny to speak about Motivation when I often find myself longing for it.

For me a deadline is a great motivator but I am trying to be better about not waiting until the last minute.

Looking at beautiful things usually helps get me in the mood to be productive. If I am in a cooking rut I carve out some time to look through one of my many cookbooks. For exercise I do best if I have to schedule a class ahead of time. When it comes to cleaning and organizing the house looking through one of my favorite decorating books usually helps. This one almost always puts me in the mood to organize.

When all else fails a coke or cappuccino usually do the trick.

I added the images and just could not resist the tray with the Corona bottles.

How pretty this tray is to win and to serve a coke or cappucino or to organize a desk.

Happy mojo Monday~

I have been motivated all weekend and going into it for Monday. I think that tray with the Corona would really add to the motivation. It has to be happy hour somewhere, right?! xo

Yesterday the rainy weather did not allow me outside in the garden. So, I made a cup of ice coffee, became very motivated and filed paperwork that badly needed a home.

PVE,

Monday's are great it's all a matter of perspective. I exercise early seven days a week up @ 4:30 - 5:00 a.m. bundle up and power walk. Set coffee maker to grind beans and drip the coffee while I'M out.

Once this tone is set the rest is all good and falls into place. Love the organized photo especially the magazines. Every tip helps us be better.

I always feel that if I don't get my mojo going on Monday, that it's hard to be motivated the rest of the week. In fact, studies show that if you skip your workout on Monday, you're most likely to skip the other days...

I think I am needing some motivation. Yes, deadlines work for me as well, but right...uh I don't have any so maybe I should give myself some...ya think? Maybe its spring fever. I always get it a bit earlier than most. :-)

Success and crossing things off my list motivates me, if I think I will succeed at whatever task lies ahead, I am motivated to know I can complete it and I am also a major list person so love crossing things off my list...feels so good....and of course I have to give coffee some due credit, definitely a huge motivator for me to get up in the morning..lol!

Oh Dear, thank you for the confession. Forward motion is my greatest accomplishment. I am propelled, each day, instantly by caffeine. After that, I am transported through my little world of design. I feel very lucky to love my work. Our bloggy world is the greatest refuge and inspiration. We are all out there together. That greases the wheels.
Best,
Liz
