Another fun giveaway, an "Amy Butler" pattern to sew this fun "frency bag" for Spring. I like to plan ahead and think of Spring in the midst of Winter. Leave me a comment and a winner will be randomly selected for this pattern!

Your blog is such a joy to read! And your illustrations are a delight to the eye. Such a joy on this frigid winter eve. Looking forward to a daily dose of pve.

I adore Amy Butler bags, but please don't add my comment to the selection (because I can't sew to save my life). Just had to say that a friend gave me one of these patterns when I first became a mother, and fortunately another friend (who's an expert seamstress) made it for me, out of fabric that I picked, and it has been one of my favorite diaper bags ever since. Sturdy, stylish and well-designed.

To Preppy 101-

Maia,
I used to sew but my life is too busy but there is something very therapeutic about it, perhaps the hum of the machine, the thread, the putting pieces together, much like a puzzle.
Hope your New Year is happy.

So glad you're feeling better, PVE. That Slim Aarons photo is to die for... Oh, to have the luxury of spending a day in bed (you know you're getting old when you need to add "by oneself") surrounded by books and tea!

I noticed on Melissa C. Morris' blog that you created their Xmas card this year. How fun!

Much love to you. You always inspire, always delight...xx

I enjoyed our chat. I haven't had my sewing machine out in months and months...not sure I would remember how to use it! Very cute bag pattern though.

First I wish you a Happy New year my dear!
And it was not really for the give away that I visited your blog today ( although it is a gorgeous one)!
