supper time

photo Margot Austin, Style at Home, Canadian Magazine
How much would I love to prepare "supper" in this pretty kitchen. I love the light, the white, the slim island. LEB posted this today. Hop on over and take a look, while I whip up some dinner.

While I was first put off by the all-white kitchen (trying too hard, nightmare to keep clean, cookie-cutter), I have since changed my tune. Perhaps it's because I spend a lot more time in the kitchen these days. Bright, clean, well-lit, luxurious in its quiet elegance, I think I'd like an all (shades of) white kitchen.

What's on the menu?

Chris,
Menu-
Free Range Roasted chicken
French Beans
Mashed Potatos
Green Salad
Fresh Rolls
come on over, but my kitchen is not all white. and my new kitchen will probably be woodsy and earthy, as much as I love the all white, it may not love me back.
I love Nigella Lawsons kitchen.

It's lovely ~ we just redid our kitchen in white and taupe.

Dinner sounds delicious ~ any room for a couple more?

I love all white, pretty much in any context - and most especially in my workspace. That said, my kitchen is Chinese lacquer red, painting by myself after many days of hard work and layering to get it just right. That was almost three years ago and I love it still. Of course, it's my husband that cooks, not me...so I hope he enjoys it as much as I do ;)

So sorry we didn't manage to get in touch while in NY...in the end, we managed to actually see only about half of the people we had intended to see. The best-laid plans, you know...We will try again next trip! Why is there just never, ever enough time?

That menu is my idea of a perfect meal. I might roast the potatoes in a little goose fat, but other than that....

Chris,
I was going to roast the potatoes, but then I spotted that mixer -
