windowing

pve design illustration for "Edman" Boutique (2009)
How many of you out there find "windowing" fascinating. My family tells me, to not keep so many "windows" open at one time (on the computer) but I simply reply, I love fresh air and window shopping too. ( Sigh -Did I just sound like my own Mother?)

Last fall, I had the pleasure of creating this illustration for Whitney and now I take great joy in telling you that she has added a blog to her world. I love women who juggle life with a smile.

Hop on over here to this "Shopkeeper's Blog" and take a look in her window and read her story. Now excuse me while I do a bit of "windowing." Have a fabulous friday and make time for a little "windowing" from home. Any windows open that you care to share with the rest of us?

I remember when you illustrated for them- it was two sisters, right? I love to window shop. I'm on my way to this new blog now. Lots of window shopping this week while my DH is "convalescing".

Debra,
Yes, take a look at "Edman" and read the story. I am always fascinated by family businesses as I grew up in one that is still going strong (knock wood)!
Provide plenty of comfort to that patient, puffing pillows, warm blankets and a smile. I know if the tables were reversed, he would be a good Nurse for you too. He might look a little cute in that Nurse outfit too.

Window shopping is so much fun. Especially when you are on a tight budget.

I love this illustration! The colors are beautiful. And I agree with CT that it has a vibe that make you want to window shop. Since it's zero degrees outside, my plan is to window shop on some fun websites.
Happy Weekend!

Hi. Really enjoyed reading this post,... opened the window to Edman's and browsed around their charming shop. Great analogy, and lovely illustration.

What a fantastic illustration you did for lucky miss Whitney! I can't wait to visit her blog---it will surely be my next "window" of the day. I'm touched you liked my little inspiration board. I would be honored to answer any questions you have regarding it---ask away! Your board sounds like a dream as well with it's family, killer shoes and a bit of history! I so admire your work and am certain your inspiration board is one to envy. Hope you have a lovely weekend dancing, loving, cleaning and the rest!
