Take a look here or there a little how to. We used plastic boxes, filled with snow and built round and round and packed the snow. Inside the igloo is surprisingly warm!
Not enough snow for an igloo, then how about a little ice skating fun. The above illustration was commissioned a few years ago for a lovely lady and it still happens to be one of my personal faves. Do you partake in any Winter games or sports to stay active? Have fun and stay warm!

All the warm wishes have really helped me to feel like my old self again, Thank-you to each of you for your kind comments. Like a spoon full of sugar, you make the medicine go down!

Very nice. I can feel a bit of warmth being inside your adorable igloo and hear the laughter as everyone skates around the rink. Enjoy! xo
Cute Patricia, so glad you are feeling better. I was going to take Isabella skating this weekend, it is just frigid here though! We wemt last month, and it was so much fun.
Glad you're back! Enough snow you ask??? We could build a whole village here with all of the snow. Send those kids up here for a visit.
Love these illustrations Patricia. Rest and DON'T over-do-it.
Darling drawings! Glad you are feeling better.
Many thanks for the Holiday card - just beautiful!
I'm as dazzled by your handwriting as I am by the art!
I have a new address here in Lexington I will email to you, as I don't want to miss a single postcard!
You are the first blog I visit each day to see your wonderful artwork! Thanks for sharing with us.
Delightful. Snow brings out the child in us all!
My house is feeling very much like an igloo today but I too made the sandwiches and sent the kids off. I'm so glad you are feeling better my friend!

I love that ice skating illustration! It looks fun! My daughter and H built a snow fort right outside our front door. Fun! And yes, it's warm inside!

Love these winter wonderland images! My husband and kids would love enough snow for an igloo - mommy on the other hand wants to dig her toes in the sand. :)
A little sledding, a little skating - either way I'm usually inside making the hot chocolate. We're still in pjs - school starts tomorrow. Enjoy the quiet as much as you enjoyed the chaos.
Oh man, how I love the thought of a marshmallow igloo!!!! Best wishes to you in the new year. Hope you start feeling 100% soon!
Patricia - glad to hear you're feeling better - and thanks for the new year wishes.
