heavy medal

Today, I award each of you a special medal for reading blogs, for taking time out to stop here for a visit. What would your medal look like and what sort of award do you deserve?

Now is your time to accept a heavy medal or two, and to leave an acceptance comment. Keep it brief as we have lots of awardees. If you are the humble type and feel the need to pass on your award, tell me who deserves an award? A fellow blogger or as you wish, pass it on.

I award;

The Zhush - (your medal will be gold with a purple ribbon.) You rock Summer style!

I award Alexis at jacolynmurphy.blogspot.com - her award would be cleverly written on a flag and stuck into some delicious creation.

I award Maria at Colour Me Happy (www.colourmehappyblog.blogspot.com) for sharing her expertise, not only on color but also mentoring other designers. Her award would most certainly be yellow and raspberry pink!

My award would be "Just Beachy"(http://justbeachy.blogspot.com/) She is an inspiration to women as she shows us we can do anything. She is an amazing DIY-er, and she does it all. My award would be a cupcake with a hammer sticking out of it!

First of all YOU deserve the award for being the most faithful and encouraging blogger ever. It also seems fitting to give an honorary medal to sweet Marija of Holding Court as her voice is greatly missed around here...

I was going to say Marija, too. What a tragic story, but what a profound statement of the friendships that have been established due to this world of blogging. It is truly an amazing phenomenon.

I award Seleta at Simply Seleta (http://simplyseleta.typepad.com), her blogs are always so well written, her family is beautiful and her style classic. She is an inspiration.

There are so many
that I love, and of
differing types, that
I could not possibly
choose! Instead, I
would hand the medal
back to YOU, as your
blog is gorgeous and
your comments always
so sweet. I'm thinking
the big "rosette" type
of ribbon like they
give out at horse shows....
Congratulations!!!

I award you the medal. I would do my favorite jewelry combination of turquoise and gold. It would have a medallion within with a paint brush and a pen on a sketchbook. Thank You for phoning back, early in our blog life (we're still very new), giving us tips, and relentlessly commenting on our posts. You are relentless, and I did note a post at 5:55 a.m!
Thank You!!

I think we should have a theme song too: I pick "Try to Remember"
Try to remember, and if you remember,
Then follow.

Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow, follow, follow, follow.

How sweet...and, (blushing!) I will not gain any points for originality here, but hopefully for honesty when I say I would award you as well! Your positive energy and encouragement can be felt right thru the computer! Not to mention all of your beautiful and very inspirational art work! A joy! Your award is a rainbow of colors on a golden painter's palette!xx
