Just love a dog who enjoys a good game of fetch and playing with a tennis ball. This commission was done for a client who wanted to give her dear man something fun for his office to remind him to take time out to play ball in the sand along the shore with their faithful companion, a Portuguese water dog. Do you have any keepsakes to remind you that there is more to life than just work? We all need to make time to play ball and have some fun. I love how a companion or child does just that - reminds us to play.

What a delightful drawing you have made of man's faithful and fun companion! This is quite wonderful and charming, and I am sure will provide its beneficary many hours (and years) of pleasure. Nice. Reggie
Reggie,
Thank-you as always for your eloquent comments.
Leave it to you to always make me feel as though I need to bob a curtsey to you dear Reggie Darling.
The pleasure is all mine, drawing every faithful companion, cottage, castle or party.
Some days I wish I had that life of my own companion.

What a fabulous picture, we all need to be reminded of the simpler things in life are the best.
We have one puppy who is never without her ball - indoors and outdoors, she constantly wants to play! Your painting is wonderful. Hope you got to play over the long weekend!

Bojangles reminds us daily sometimes twice a day to go for a walk or toss his ball. A great illustration of a pup enjoying what he loves, playing ball. xo
Our neighbor has that same dog it's also Sophie Boyfriend! Most well trained dog I have ever seen! Love it! Hope you had the most wonderful weekend!
What a playful illustration. Hope you had time to play over the weekend! We're looking forward to long June days and plenty of time to go outside and be playful.
PS _ Of course would love to be your guest next month, how delightful! XO

Precious Precious illustration!
oh, that is sweet. it looks like it could be our old yorkie poo, winston! i may need one for myself, too. ;)
I so love this!!! Molly and I play fetch with a little yellow tennis ball every day. And, on my walks with her, I am reminded to take things in, breathe, to slow down. I think pets are so good that way!!!

Our rescue, Master Barkley does love a good game of fetch. Your art is wonderful. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
Jones, large standard "blue", is my constant, faithful shop assistant, greeter and take me to the park guy. He is also a "rocker" with "Sympathy for the Devil" being his favorite tune--he sings along from the very first note. His posture and attitude is very much like the dog in your painting. Have a wonderful week! Mary
