in the works

I thought I would share an illustration and shop that is "in the works" - as you can see, I have not yet applied water color to the building since I needed information as to the colors of the awning and the door.  Often I like to do a loose rendering to get the perspective working and from left to right.  I will be back after this one is completed and show you the final artwork.

I like what I see! The tree reflection in the window is nice. I just know I'm going to do backward flips on this one when it is finished. xo

So nice...It's like a b&w with a pop of color. Can't wait to see the finished product! Have a wonderful weekend!

Out of curiosity - did you just use a drawing pen for the lines there? I'm a watercolor novice and have just been playing around with it lately, but have yet to combine any pen drawings with it...!

(It's so pretty, btw! Can't wait to see the finished piece :) )
