happy focus

I do not have a tattoo, but I rather like this temporary one.
After all it would serve as a reminder of what to focus on: happy.
September has always symbolized the start of a new year for me. The tape in my mind plays like this, work out more, eat better, meet deadlines and the constant strive for perfection does cause me to realize that the focus needs to circle around - happy.  Smile more. Laugh more and just be happy.

My heart aches for those that have been affected by the flooding or by the memories of September 11th.
Today we will attend the funeral of a remarkable woman of "104" years of living with a happy focus.
Will you promise me to focus on the happy this weekend?
Radiate joy! Promise.

September is a new start and focus for me also. I love the change of season for that very reason to start anew. My hubby is home this weekend so I'm happy about that.

It's really devastating watching the news with all the flooding, fires and memories of 9/11 my heart aches for so many.

PS thanks for the peach info I had no idea it took that long. Living in rural area I'm all about supporting the farmer really I am...gonna complain less starting this month too.

Have a wonderful weekend!

What a lovely reminder. Yes, I promise to focus on happiness. I've been putting together a fall "syllabus" for myself, thinking about what I want to accomplish and learn. I think I'll ad "focus on happy" to the list!

Have happy weekend!

I love this happy image! Yes, my friend I will. I always try to find the silver lining, the treasure etc... in the worse case. Some are hidden deep, but I find. them. :) xo

I'm with you - September always feels like a time of renewal! So much so that I said "Happy New Year" to someone last night... I try to focus on happy each and every day; after all, life is too short.

PVE,

September is filled with many things that can flip your happy switch if you let it get to you. Today would have been my dogs 17th birthday. Kayla passed away just about two years ago (Sept 19th). I have a furneral to attend tomorrow (my neighbor who was just 57 yrs old).

I love fall and I love life and I love death. Without a "passing on of life's most precious (time, life, loved ones, friends, neighbors, pets, or something that makes us grieve...we cannot live.

Nature is so much better at this than we are. But each season the lesson is repeated again and again.

I promise I WILL always be happy! With wonderful bloggers like you PVE how can we not be. Many blessings for this weekend.

September marks the beginning of spring here in Australia and for me it's the perfect time to plan, design and re-arrange (my favourite time of the year)
I will definitely focus on joy and happiness this week-end...I promise

A very inspirational post

I will try to focus on the happy and peaceful. I agree with what you wrote, and am just now going out for a run! I admire those who turn their attitudes to the positive and live "happy."

My husband & I were just remembering where we were when the attacks happened on 9/11. It's still so unbelievable sometimes.

I'll promise to live happy today. Thanks pve!

September 11 is on many peoples mind & my heart goes out to those affected by it & by those devastated by floods & fires. I promise i will stay focused & happy & I will be greatful to all i have in my life. I always believe in being happy for what we have & not wasting time worrying about what we dont have & when you look around at the sadness of these awful events it really brings this home to me

I adore being in a state of happiness, but as an artist, the melancholy moments are as important as the happy ones.

I think I'm attracted to circles... I'm not sure why, but recently, I am choosing all things circular! I love this tattoo option.... I'm not much of a tattoo fan myself, but if I were to pick one, this just might be the one!
