balancing act

Finding "balance" seems to be one area that we all crave.  As we all search for ways to carve out time for excerise, work, family, friends and more our life takes on more meaning.  What are some ways that you perfect your balancing act?

I have found that if I make time to walk in the morning, I'm more cheerful, more productive and feel more balanced. However my brain still tells me to procrastinate every morning and I don't always get it in! I wish I was more motivated to make that a priority.

I love my walks. A peak out the window to "see" the beauty around me always brings me back to a calming state.

THANK YOU for the beautiful card. It was a wonderful surprise and a ray of sunshine after coming home from saying good bye to a friend. Do you know how much I cherish you? xo

Love the illustration. I think I'm still working on my balancing act, dropping things right and left. But practice make perfect, yes?

I make lists. It's the only way I can set some priorities and keep track of all the things I want/need to do during a day.

Having time every day when I just sit and think with no technology. often just havin a design magazine on my lap for the occasional glance makes this time even better. Very creative illustration!

Illustration is so perfect...I love it! I'm really lucky having one child being a teenager and not working right now I have more time than I know what to do with.

Oh my, my balance lately is so precarious I dare not answer! With a deep breath and a prayer ! Right now I am sitting at football practice enjoying the sunset, and doing a little visiting which I enjoy...
I hope your college kids are doing well, and are not missed too much,

PVE,

My morning priority is walking very very early. My husband and I walk/run 6 days a week without fail. Sunday is our rest day. We've decided we owe it to ourselves and each other to be the best we can.

Sure we're tired and want to rollover and go back to sleep (that's what we do on Sundays) but we've done that and we are much more our productive, happier and best by excercising. Early a.m.is best then it doesn't nag you all day long.

Love the illustration great for a yoga tee shirt or work out wear.
