brush up on

Certain phrases speak to me for example, "brush up on" which literally means
"to improve one's previously good knowledge of a skill or a particular thing."
Excuse me while I go "brush up on" some of my work. My brush is up with wet paint and a pile of work to finish with holiday deadlines to meet and no elves at my beckon call.
Promise to be back in a jiffy with lots of pretties to share.

That was fun and everything had it's fun built in. Happy brushing!

Oh Patricia I do envy you. The only painting I'll be going any time soon is with paint from a 4 litre tin of acrylic with a long roller! Won't it be wonderful when you've met all those deadlines! Glad you enjoyed the stunning Wreta Gestgifveri too.

I love phrases - words- wordplay! A good phrase can inspire pages of writing!

I look forward to seeing what lovely things you have in the works. Good luck with your to-do list!

Just love seeing artists supples and their studios. I have been on a bit of a spree and will post new images after I shoot them in the natural light tomorrow.
