I spy red

I spy red. Double doors painted in red. A red bench and a red mail box all seem to be getting along rather nicely. I have always welcomed the color red during the onset of the holidays. Red bows begin to pop up and they make me smile. What other things do you see in this photo that are red?

{By the way, Congrats to the winner (blogger) "Maggies Secret Garden" - she was randomly selected via random number generator to win the Amy Butler design pattern for a lap-top cover and a mp3 case.}
Enjoy sewing that and show us when you are ready!

I like the glass panes above the doors - nice architecture. I also like the different shades of red that is used at the holiday time. From the bright shades to burgandy - it's all so pretty.

I've been thinking about the color red a lot lately. I've never considered it as an option for my own interiors (only for a front door really), but it's starting to grow on me.

This entrance is filled with passion for all that walk through. They even have red wheels in the background. Do you think it is a red pickup? Enjoy your day my friend! xoxo

PS I like your idea on lists.

Love the splash of red! We had a brick red door at our old house and it looked great.

Red always stirs up interest in any space. That's why it's so popular in advertising. It creates a reaction and we like that about it.

i wish my house could be white, black and red. but the previous owners painted it beige taupe and plum. it's fine but i love white with black with touches of red.

if that was my porch....i'd be there right now with a blanket, a magazine and cup of hot coffee! :)

What a festive photo! I love how it seems the little drummer boy left something behind. Wouldn't it be nice to sit and enjoy a peppermint mocha out here?

That front door is so welcoming, I wonder what else is behind it and if there is more red inside?

Gorgeous! I wish my porch looked that festive.

And I spy with my little eye a little red station wagon nearby. :-)
