mountain do

Every weekend, we hit the slopes and slide down the mountains.
We are what I refer to as a "mountain do" kind of family.
This is my girl, she is a J4 Alpine downhill racer.
We are there in any kind of weather perfecting our downhill skills.
Gray days cast a calm eery spell on the mountain.
Sunny days say "Hello" and beckon for all to come out and play.  Whatever the skies and mountains do, we are faithful to get outside and do what we love.  Ski, mingle and shush down the mountain.

So fun to see you getting outside with your family and doing what you love! We just haven't had enough mountain time this year... thanks so much for the reminder of the importance of playtime. Have fun in the snow this weekend! XO

Looks absolutely gorgeous Patricia and I don't blame you for getting outside. Dylan dog and I had our two hour hike in the woods this morning and love the fresh air.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Wow, being able to find such snow so close to home - we would have to fly to Switzerland, France or Italy to ski at the weekends.

I used to ski ALL the time when I was growing up. It was something my parents made sure I was good at because it was something I would know how to do the rest of my life. I'm sad to say I have not been in over 10 years now, and I miss it so much! I think I have t put it on my bucket list of things to do again.

Love that picture of your daughter. She looks completely at home on the slopes!! I have one speed racer and one very cautious skier (who prefers routes through trees) to speed. Can you guess who is who?

Oh my gosh. Wonderful. Can I ask, where do you live, approximately?

She looks beautiful! Sounds like you are having a good time. I hope the boys could get away to ski too. xo...

Your daughter sure looks as if she "can do" on the mountain! Glad you've been able to get out and enjoy, since it's not much of a ski/snow season. I'm vowing to get out more, and you're inspiring me.

I agree, for the most part, but don’t you feel as if the issue is more complex than that?
