market research

Friday is my day of the week for a bit of "market research."
Something tells me that a bunch of these are needed for the office.
Care to join me in a little research?
Nothing like stepping away from the desk on a friday.
Firstly, I seem to be drawn to an array of such gorgeous colors.
I think my customers like the taste of a little color too.
Red, Orange, Yellow's give me a "pep" talk and tell me, "buy me."
Fresh roasted peppers really taste best.
Then the smell of freshly baked breads stand at my attention.
My clients love fresh bread. Who am I kidding, I love it too.
My research tells me that they love "bruschetta" - "salsa" - and "gazpacho" too.
Hope you have a chance to conduct your own market research and bring home some samples to share with your little or big markateers.
What sorts of market research do you do?

One of my little marketeers would devour all that you have displayed...the other not so much, he could care less how vibrant the colors are. If it was the meat market he would be all in. So I would have to add butcher to my jaunt to the market to make everyone happy:) Our favorite market is on Saturday, so we will be marketing tomorrow. Happy Friday. --Gretchen O.

Gretchen-
Oh, I have a "carnivore" too - and at the age of two, when the Dr. asked what was his favorite veggie, he replied "steak!" Still to this day he veto's veggies.
I keep trying, but he does enjoy salad.

I do love the farmer's market. My family goes for everything you mentioned adding in cheesecake, honey and jams. Cheesecake is the dessert of choice here, so if I really want to get on their good side, I stop by Alex's. Lovely photos! Enjoy your market research and happy weekend!

P.S. We love steak too.

I love those colors! I have to admit, I am not one of those individuals who is looking forward to fall fashion and falling leaves. However, those warm hues (and the delicious recipes that come to mind) definitely make the transition a little less daunting!

Oh the farmer's market. Last time I brought home a tiny coconut cream pie, and the freshest clams ever.

I used to spend many a Saturday morning at the Borough Market in London, which was notable for the fantastic range of fresh fish and meats one could procure. This being London, there were also some fantastic pies and the concomitant loud and effusive piemen

All best,

B
