wowwy

painting by Carol Marine - "Maddie"
Weekends should be a time to run, let your hair down, smile and just enjoy little everyday wows.
What makes your weekend more "wowwy?"

Lots of quiet painting. The weather isn't going to be favorable this weekend, so it's the perfect time to get some work completed and start a few projects. I love weekends like this every once in a while. Hope you have a nice weekend planned.

This is beautiful....instantly put a smile on my face! I think my daughter had this look on her face at the park today!

Oh! Patricia! How wonderful to see Carol's painting on your blog! Carol is a wonderful person, and teacher, as well as artist. I have taken her workshop, and learned so much! Have a terrific weekend, whatever you're doing!

I love the feeling that painting evokes... pure joy.

The same joy I feel in spending the entire weekend with my daughter.

Hope you have a wowwy weekend!

A joyful painting and an interesting point of view.
Hopefully the wet weekend won't deter breaking in my new walking shoes--in which case, rain boots for me.
Have a good one,

What makes my weekend my 'wowwy' is that my husband is home, and we get to spend more time together. That's wowwy enough for me. :)

I am sourcing, pulling props and creating tabletop scenarios for a shoot early next week. All I really want to do is spread the mountain of Sweet Peet that is on a tarp in our driveway though....maybe I'll do a few wheelbarrows full before I go shopping.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that image, made me smile.

We spent the day organizing a Middle School family community service project for another school that does not have alot in the way of resources. Planting, painting, washing windows and creating a magical garden for the K class - it felt great!
