pom-pon

wikipedia - allium, Lucy Ball
Something about seeing alliums makes me giggle.
I wonder if they might have been the inspiration for a cheerleader's pom-pon?
This one is called "Lucy Ball" and if you look closely, you will see a bee having a ball.

pve design for "purple flowers"
This was another design for purple flowers.  I had so many responses to the purple alliums that I had posted earlier this week.  I had a bit of help with adding the text from someone who also makes me smile!  I quite like the range of sizes.  Love your thoughts.

This one is pretty great too! Love all of the purple. The header that 'Purple Flowers' chose has all of that great garden detail-which you do so well.

Ive always loved Allium, ive never grown them, but have been thinking about doing them in a creative silk arrangement , but have not quite come up with it yet, or where to put it, but will

Sweet perfection. I had some Allium's in my garden in WA State. They are magical. Your purple art is terrific.

I quite love the range of sizes. Isn't it incredible that it's from the onion family?

Hi Patricia,
You know, I've never seen these flowers but saw them the other day as well and I think that means I am supposed to plant some. Love the name Lucille Ball. My garden could use some purple.

Princeton has an allium garden which is just amazing! These are such fun to see bobbing their heads in gardens.
