Once more

My sister has been working on a series, called "Once again" with feeling she paints peonies and tries to capture the fleeting beauty of the blossoms.  Here, I have the impression that the petals are just about to drop.  I think the looseness of the stroke of the brush gives this work brevity of life.
Happy Tuesday.

I love how the blossom looks as light and delicate as the glass and water.

I think my favorite color study in painting is white. There are so many unexpected colors used to create the effect of "white."

She seemed to capture that fleeting moment in time. A very pretty painting.

Hi Patricia,
How lovely for you to share your sister's artistic talent with us. obviously it runs in the family. But even nicer is that you and your sister share this gift. That must be fun!

Opps forgot.....tell your sister that her painting is exquisite. I love peonies, even when all the petals start falling off.

Lovely composition, I can imagine that the colors and texture are even more beautiful than what the photo has captured. "White" is a delightful color to paint. Thank you for sharing her art with us.
cheers to your talents.

Peonies are too short lived, how appropriate to create a permanent version of them. Just Lovely!
