oh my

Last December a dear friend brought me this lovely orchid and I must admit that other than dousing it with water, letting it drain and playing soft music, the happiness radiating in the form of blossoms undoubtedly provides an "Oh my" each time I pass by.

What sort of simple joys
bring an "Oh my" to your day?

Aaah I need to know your secret! I am an orchid killer. I have such a black thumb with them and would love to keep one going. Help!

I am with Belle. I have a huge, oh my, when I look at your beautiful orchid! I just can't seem to keep them alive.

Since my house is facing South, I do get a lot of nice Southern Exposure and I suppose my orchid likes that.
Never over water and I pluck off the dead blossoms once they are dry and about ready to fall off.

An orchid is a miraculous flower of sorts, unique, exotic, and I love all of the species!

Well I am jealous because orchids are one of those plants that I cannot get to flower. They say they are sensitive to the mood and personality of the owner. You must have a tranquil one to get it to flower, and stay in flower, with such beauty.

That is such a gorgeous orchid!! Fresh flowers will do that to me. And, today was a bonus as they had pink tulips with white tips at my local shop. Can't ever say no to those!

I know how you feel, I love orchids, they are so elegant and glamorous....
I am lucky too with having just the right exposure for them at y house.
Having been recently to the Redwoods in California, they certainly let me exclaim "OH MY"

I have the very same dendrobium orchid and I keep it in the Master Bath. It gives me an "oh my" every YEAR that it re-blooms, and right now the buds are about to burst. That's the time to fertilize it once-a-week. Looks gorgeous in it's green celadon pot!

Lately its been topiaries evoking that "oh my" everytime I walk by. But usually I have at least one orchid in the house, which never fail to bring me joy. Your orchid would make me do a double take.....

So beautiful. Fresh flowers, either orchid plants or cut flowers are an essential "Oh My!" for me too.

Wow that is one beautiful orchid- it must be so happy where it is. I seem to have a black thumb when it comes to those- I cant seem to get them to bloom again. I must send mine to Grandmas house to fix- she always has the right touch.

Good site! I truly love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I'm wondering how I might be notified when a new post has been made. I've subscribed to your RSS feed which must do the trick! Have a great day!
