experts only

Skiing is one sport that requires skill and motivation.  Nothing like flying down an icy slope where experts only are supposed to go.  I love this sign found on etsy.  My family has been skiing together for years now and I have a pinterest board full of ideas for my dream ski house.  Here are just a few ideas.
Loving this black wall and lots of light streaming in from the windows.  Note the rustic wood ceiling and black beams.  An open floor plan for all to gather together is a must.
 Love this all black house.
Lots of white inside and a room for tuning skis and storing equipment.
After a long day of hitting the slopes, coming home to a warm stew or sharing fondue here would be welcome followed by an experts only game of scrabble or domino.

As a kid we were never allowed to go skiing with friends as it was to 'dangerous'. Later in college (and now) I occasionaly accompany friends to the slopes but don't want to be shown up with me on the bunny slopes with my much more expert friends off in another area so I tend to stay in the lodge by the fire!

Oh, I would love to join you for a glass of wine and some fondue in your imaginary ski house - will be there virtually for sure through Pinterest! I'm a skittish skier, but Mr. H. is an expert. I think I love apres ski best!

I wish I could still ski; however relaxing in a home in the mountains, reading, tea or wine, a glowing fire. Sounds so great!

Ha! Not much of a skier (I got stuck in the sideways splits, lost a ski, was partly stranded, and cried on a blue square once - I've never been the same since!). I marvel at those who can do the diamond. I'd join you for a game of dominos though, along with a hot chocolate!

Enjoy the slopes with your family!

I used to ski all the time when I was a kid and I havent been in years now. It is something on my to-do list that never seems to get done. I have to make it priority soon.
