freshman

"It is confidence in our bodies, minds and spirits that allows us to keep looking for new adventures, new directions to grow in, and new lessons to learn - which is what life is all about."

~Oprah Winfrey

Our sons are freshman and are away at University.  Today they are coming home for the long weekend.
I know their sister will be happy to have them shower her with love.
I will be so thrilled to have them home and hear all about their first month and new discoveries.
Looking forward to sharing our new kitchen and nourishing my family with home cooked meals and a lively house.
It is Columbus weekend here in the states.
Enjoy!

Have a wonderful time enjoying being all together! It was always so great when everyone was home on college break. To see the beginnings of the awesome adults our children would become was one of life's joys.

I'm envious of the weekend you're going to have! There's just something "right" about having our kids under our own roof, no matter what their age! Enjoy!
Best,
Susan

Oh, I love the photo your sons holding your daughter :) Christmas card?

On another note, I received my advanced order copy of Preppy yesterday and I saw one of your drawings for J. McLaughlin in it. Page 125. I wish a PVE appeared on it! Fabulous as always! xoxo

Oh I've always wanted a lively house, mine's like a mausoleum far too often, I might have to get a pooch to liven things up round here. Enjoy your family weekend, I'm very envious.

Oh, Patricia, nothing could be better than having your boys back under your roof. I'm sure they will both have endless stories and yearn for some home cooking.

Happy weekend, dear!!!

Oh how I relate to this post Patricia! I had all my interstate sons home 2 weeks ago for Son #5's engagement party. They had to prise me from the driveway which I was lying across in a feeble attempt to stop them going to the Airport to fly back to their various homes at the end of a truly wonderful weekend. Your gorgeous boys have so much of their beautiful Mum in them.
