partnership for children

Just back home from the city where we attended an evening of the 100th Anniversary of the Foundation, Partnership with Children at the Pierre Hotel in New York City.   I donated a "home" illustration for the silent auction venue of the evening and I am thrilled to say that the closing bid reached nearly $1000 dollars!  I am thrilled to give to worthy cause to help support inner city children that benefit from amazing programs to give them needed counseling and education.
Every child faces challenges in this life, and to partner with an organization that is devoted to giving and supporting children is a worthwhile cause.  I encourage each of you to think of the future of our children.  Thank-you!

Congratulations on the high price for your donated drawing. I think it's great that you involve yourself with this charity.

Children are our future, and as Jackie Kennedy Onassis said, "If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do matters very much." This applies ALL THE CHILDREN IN THE WORLD- start locally - the more we help each other and especially the children the better the world will be - thanks for spreading the positive energy and getting us to think about what we can do. And here, here, Patricia -on the high price of your drawing donation-

Way to go. I can so believe that your piece went to $1000. Your work is gorgeous:)

Too funny, we were called this week to donate a frame for an auction for Autism this weekend. We just finished it up an hour age. I can't wait to see if it raises any money for the cause!!!

what a wonderful contribution and worthy cause. i have a 'little sister' with big brothers big sisters and it is entirely challenging and fulfilling. whether raising or mentoring children, its certainly one of the most important gifts we can give.

so thrilled for you about the big bid! congratulations.
