Hi Fussy Hussy,
I am honored to be the first to post a comment. Afterall I am a mother and I know it ain't easy. But your creative energies must be fueled in part by motherhood cause that is one nice painting!

Such a lovely post. Crazy how when little ones are sick life stops. Sometimes those moments aren't so terrible (of course minus the sick part).

I felt the same way on Thursday when I was home with my daughter. We had a wonderful day together. We watched Becoming Jane and tye died her sheets for camp. She is still driving me nuts with the cold but at least she is off to school.

i remember staying home sick with my mom. funny that it's actually a very positive memory despite illness. sometimes it's good to fuss and be fussed over. so glad she's feeling better.

Having had my baby home for three weeks, I know exactly how you feel.

I feel you on this one. My babysitter quit this week [following the long 11 day spring break] and I've been ready for a breakdown all week. I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who feels "fussy" when life is interrupted. Like you, I also had to regroup my priorities and remind myself that these little souls are number one and need our love and care. Sometimes easier said than done.

With motherhood, so often we give of our oil instead of our light and end up exhausted. Voice of experience.

Love the painting. Love the new header for My Notting Hill!

You're a loving mom + your children are blessed!

I suppose it is a case of the grass always being greener on the other side! I remember as a child staying home sick, I'm sure I was a terrible burden on my mother. I would be up in my bedroom playing with my toys and being a brat while my mom hid downstairs!!

I really love that painting.

Children are the lesson. I've learned more in six months of living with a child than I've learned my whole life.

This is a touching post.
