Dada

Why is it that the first words I uttered were Dada!  Absurd, because my Dad was working 24-7 to build the business which is still going strong while my Mom raised the seven of us.  A father to seven children and a mentor to many.  My Dad has been a mentor to me and always has something nice to say.  The positivity he exudes is amazing.  For years, I have always made cards for my Dad and I have saved some of them.  Here is one of me and my Dad.  The scan is a little blurry but can you feel the love!
Happy Father's Day "Dada."

Oh yes. I feel the love. In that photo he only has eyes for you. You'd never know - in that moment - that you shared that love with six others.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all of the Da-Da's out there. A beautiful tribute to your sweet Dad.
And a happy day to you my dear friend.

Lovely picture. "Dada" I suppose because Mom's get all the other experiences, the first bond, smile and hug. Dad's may as well get the first word. Father's Day was also my lovely birthday, made sure we shared though ;)

I ought to check online more often after this splurge of reading.

I love this photo. Dad has always been so expressive and of course you have always been the lovely ducky you are! This photo reminds me of Ben and makes me want a granddaughter!!!!!
