new year's plans

My plans for the New Year will be with proceeding with this wonderful planner " Eight days a week" from Bob's Your Uncle. I found this at a nearby paper shop and am in love with the slim portable size and the layout. Each day is a blank list from 7:30 til 6:30, in half-hour slots. Day eight is marked "someday" which I use for future plans. I really love this book and you can find it online here.
You can write in the dates for each week, beginning where you want to get organized for 2009!
How are your New Year's plans coming along?

You just reminded me that I need a refill for my journal...that's a pretty one you've shown.

I have a heightened sense of renewal this year...don't know why...just feels different. Maybe it's the state of the world?

Happy New Year Patricia!

Oh Patricia- I think I might have to take a page from your book and order this one. I love the colors easy to find in the purse and out!
Oh dear I guess I should be thinking about plans.
Enjoy your day!

Ooh...check your link! I think it's just mis-conformed.

I love that book, you shared it with me on our recent visit...may need to invest but am trying to figure how to reconcile with the online calendar! Color makes a difference...!

That is a neat idea! When I used to use a paper planner I always put post-its inside as a makeshift day 8. I am a stationary lover and miss using a paper calendar, but use an electronic version now because I can coordinate easily with my husband and with the school (school calendar is available ical).

We are so on the same page. See my post tomorrow. You know I love that book. I've been on the perfect planner search for days now and I think I may have found one that is close. My plans for next year are to improve on this one.

michelle-
yes - it is that time of year to re-fill our journals and planners or to make that leap into the electronic world.
this year does feel very different. we shall take nothing for granted!

joyce-
you would love this book and reserving time with your new camera! This book will fit in a bag, not a small clutch but I like the format of this book!

I think the planner is pretty AND functional, my favorite combo.
Although I live on the computer I am very tactile when it comes to lists and calendars, I've got to write it out-it seems to stay in my brain better!
And I think everyone needs an eighth day EVERY week, so I think I better acquire this book...

what a cute planner! I buy one nearly every year, but it never fails; within a month i've stopped using it! I so try to be organized :-(

My day planner page would need to go to 1:30 a.m. Maybe that's my resolution...a day that ends when the Bob's Your Uncle's planner tells me it does. :-)

I'm with Heidi...my plans seem to be to fly by the seat of my pants!

I love the colors of your new planner. I used to love buying a new planner for the new year, don't get to now that I use my phone for everything:) Now I put all my energy into looking for pretty journals!!!!

Happy New Year!

I adore the "someday" page! Great idea.

As for me, I am still comfortably ensconced in Christmas. My New Year planning will begin on the 5th!

Loving this great notebook. I'm almost tempted--but I go through my notebooks so fast...anyway, hoping you all things wonderful in the New Year Patricia!
