What could be simpler than that of a wreath and a garland to easily add the feeling that holidays are honored inside. I have always adored a garland or a swag simply gracing an entry or decking a door. Time to deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la!

Aw...reminds me of home. They made me take the wreath off my apartment door, they said it was a fire hazard (boo). Little do they know what is in the apartment (hehe). Going to have to get an artifical wreath for the door, can't let them keep me down :) Have a wonderful weekend.

I just love garlands and swags. They look really perfect on traditional entries such as these, and on classic white fireplaces.

so nice to know simple is good. We had the grand idea to rim the side of the house in lights (front door side) and it went...poof. So now I'm aiming for a nice lit wreath on the chimney...
