waves of green

My sister Liz painted this for her son.  She wanted to do something nice for him.  Now that is what I call something more than just nice.  I feel like I am surfing on waves of green.

Is everyone in your family just full of talent?! Beautiful painting! My son would love it - he is very into talking about what he sees in pictures, especially farm country scenes.

Incredibly grateful to have parents that would nurture each of us to develop our inner passions. Each of my siblings were encouraged to find their gifts and work at it. Practice makes perfect!

Thanks, Sis for posting my painting. The Umbrian sun has shone upon this olive grove farm since the 1500's - La Licina outside of Spoleto, Italy. It brought sun into our lives then and the memory of it still does!

Beautiful!
It reminded me of the Federico Garcia Lorca (my favorite poet) poem that starts:
Verde
que te quiero verde...

Oh my goodness.........I don't think it's very fair that your family has so much talent !!! At least you share :)

It should be illegal for sisters to be this talented...on second-thought I am glad it's not.
