think happy

While I can't seem to shake the sadness I feel for Boston, my mind is doing it's darned best to think happy thoughts for the future.  

Will we be subjected to daily random acts of hatred causing unhappiness?   

How can we simply show our happy spirit and move forward?

I want so much to celebrate and find the happy place.  Check out these gorgeous gals, they offer lovely services for soiree planning and e-design.  The mix of plates, the fresh colors and just an overall feel good setting surely sets the tone for a punchy party.

Now to figure out what to wear, maybe something gingham, or pucci?  Are you trying to think happy thoughts as much as I am?

Make Lemonade, pve design artwork, sold.

I made time to go to my painting class and painted these pretty things. I love taking time for pretty little things. I also love fine lines, but sometimes feel the need to step out of my box.

This was my first attempt, then I went back to my fine lines. Which one do you prefer, with the fine lines or without?

honor tree

The intent of my visit to my parents was to help them both, to make them both feel better, but in all fairness, my visit was to honor them.  I witnessed my parents, still very much in love with one another, in sickness and in health.  When we honor the ones we love, we find new meaning in our own life.  As the holidays are upon us, one way to honor your parents or a family you love is to make a simple family tree, an "honor tree."  The above tree is so simple from Martha, just a pretty colored paper and a white pen, write the names to form a tree of honor and simply frame.  What a lovely hostess gift!
