call of the sea

After having spent time at sea, I simply must get back to the sea.
Nothing like the lull of the sea, the sounds of the birds, the waves, the stars, the intense sunsets.
Heading out to Montauk for a few days before my back-to-schoolers are gone to begin a new year.
Then it will be back to work full time for me.
I have some lofty goals and projects to be completed.
To those of you that are waiting patiently for artwork, thanks for giving me time this summer to take a break.  I find it is so important to take time for my children and give my art a rest too.
I have needed it but now I am ready to begin anew.

a break in the summer to enjoy family and some time spent by the sea is the best way to recharge our batteries.

I too have taken a fallow period to recharge my batteries. I have really enjoyed my blogging friends, but I have to do other things too. I'm glad to read that other bloggers pause and hit their internal refresh buttons.
Best,
Liz

It's amazing how mesmerising the sea can be. I love these photos - part of what I love is how different the seascape is in different parts of the world - yet it's power is still the same! Glad you've had a wonderful Summer with your family. I can't wait as ours is just about to begin. Pip xx
