Nailheads are everywhere.

on bags
on doors
on furniture
headboards
How do you like nailheads and decorative hardware?
I think I need to tackle a project and add some nail heads.

It is so simple to add nailhead trim! Hobby Lobby sells them by the roll! When I reupholster I really don't have the patience for piping. Thank goodness for the nailhead trim!

My sister in law has a maroon nail head chair in her den by the fireplace. It's the first place I go to sit when I arrive at her house. The look is stately and finished.

After reading this post I just realized I don't have any nails in any of my projects except for the nails in the walls! Smile... Enjoy my friend. xo

One of my favorite purses is a Michael Kors with nailhead trim - so chic and sleek with a modern touch. Wondering where I can apply this accent in my home...
Happy weekend, PVE!

I love the edge nail heads give - I really like them on white. Can't wait to see what you turn out!

Just love the detail of nailhead trim - I have it on several chairs - it's a great touch.

I'm crazy for it. Especially with linen. You should definitely 'tack'le it. : )

I love nail head trim for upholstery, especially for heavier fabrics. I have a Swedish Empire sofa that needs to be reupholstered but I am holding out, hoping to find a match for the wonderful extra-small nail heads that are currently employed. __ The Devoted Classicist

I love the nailhead trim. I am not sure it fits with my overall decorating style though. I have been pondering something small . . . xoxo

Love nailhead trim. Doing it brings out my inner perfectionist. Not always a pretty thing!

I absolutely adore nailheads in an interior space...love them on ottomans, chairs and even sofas! I think the key is to limit the usuage in one room.

what a great idea! I think a nail head wall in a bathroom for example could be very interesting and add a lot of texture to the room.

You really nailed it with this post. ;-)

I have a chair that desperately needs to be recovered (well, more like restuffed but can't do that without the cover!). It's got a little bit of nailhead trim that I DEFINITELY need to replicate when I get around to re-doing it.

Hope your 2011 is off to an amazing start! I'm having a lovely catch-up here with you...it's been wayyyyyyy too long for me to be out of the bloggy loop. xo Laura
