weekend shopping

Love to escape for a "shopping" weekend. How about Nantucket?
I love Islands or streets where shops are unique.
Places that have one of a kind or mom-n-pop shops.
Do you shop when you are away and purchase items that will bring back memories of a place and time?
What sorts of shopping will you be doing this weekend?
I plan to shop our farmers market and stock up on fresh fruits and veggies and make some gazpacho soup!
Enjoy the weekend!

No matter where I visit on the Cape-there are the most delightful little shops~ and it's always fun to bring a little something special back home. And of course we have lovely coastal shops here in Maine. Grab your bag and head over-let's shop!

Your illustrations alone are treasures. I would love to stroll through Charleston popping in and out of quaint boutiques.

Gazpacho is on my list of things to make this weekend as well. Enjoy your weekend.

I love to find that "one thing" that will serve as a reminder of my travels. This weekend I'll be at the Farmer's Market, buying essentials for my pantry and refrigerator...quite a challenge now, with both children home for awhile.

Enjoy your weekend!

I love bringing home items from a special vacation. Mostly antiques or things for my home to remind me of the place. Carla

Love those illustrations! I would love to make it to a farmers' market, but it may have to be the grocery, depending on the time. Enjoy shopping!

Can you believe I've never been to Nantucket?! I'll have to rectify that one day. This weekend is all about baseball at our house and friends visiting from Texas!

I was just thinking how great gazpacho would be for dinner!!

The illustrations are beautiful. I love shopping those quaint New England shops. You almost have to bring an extra bag for all of your goodies.

shopping..!
yes..that's my plan this weekend too. Although,
it's not a town but an event..Vines and vignettes.
I'm actually exhibiting but my eyes have been wandering
over to this fabulous booth of garden antiques..
I have so little will power when it comes to finds like that.. Loving your illustrations.

have a great weekend.
