Sorry, I just could not resist to poke a little fun. I love when people know me because of my blog, it does make me feel that much closer to fame and fortune (not). Do you blog for fun or fame?
Very cute! I blog for fun. In the unlikely event that fame follows, I know I won't like the pointing. But if there's money involved, I guess I could learn to live with it.
Occasionally I think, when I'm looking at Google Analytics, "I really should do more with this blog of mine." But then it would be more of a job. Plus I'd rather share my quirky stuff than have to think, "now what would other people like to see?" So, I remain relatively anonymous.
Hmmmmmm, is that a trick question? Because even though it is fun to write about stuff... if no one is reading it, what is the point? I blog to share and learn from others... I read blogs to learn and share with others... so "others" hold a very important place in blogging. I guess it all depends on how you define fame.
The good thing about online fame, you probably won't see them actually pointing. Oh-oh, you will read about it.
FUN, FUN, and more FUN! I enjoy the friendship that came out of blogging and learning a thing or two along the way. Patricia this brings a question that i have wondered for some time, since I started blogging. If you visit a blog on a regular bases and they don't visit yours, is it proper blog etiquette to continue visiting or assume they are not interested? BTW in my eyes you are fun and famous! xo
Definately fun and I feel like my blog friends ARE famous to me. Cute cartoon - I am going to share it with my husband (who thinks everything needs to be about business). Best, Colleen
Since I'm a totally new blogger, I'd have to say for *nerve-racking* fun...and because everyone was telling me I should write a book or do a blog about our house.
The fame side of it all makes me a bit apprehensive but I love enjoying the fruits of the fame that other bloggers have produced!
Love it the illustration - how funny! I started blogging as a creative outlet. I like to write and wanted to share my thoughts on anything and everything with anyone who may stop by to read it. I've been so taken aback that I have followers and that people actually leave comments! I don't think of myself as a "famous blogger." But, it is funny and flattering to see my blog mentioned by other people and for it to be complimented sometimes. PVE, you ARE a famous blogger and your work certainly shows it. Cheers to you!
For fun, definitely. And certainly not for money (I rather like the fact that I don't make a dime on it--means that I don't feel like I have to plug anyone or write about anything I don't want to).
Ha!! Fun definitely. There are other ways to become famous (sex tape, reality TV, self help book, Twitterer extraordinaire, TV chef, etc). xoxo
ReplyDeleteVery cute!

ReplyDeleteI think out of fun, but absolutely not to become famous.
