orignal artwork circa 2007 gifted to Anna Spiro
This work of art (c.2007) was inspired by the lovely collection from "Absolutely Beautiful Things." Anna's mother collects blue and white delftware, chinoiserie boxes, cache pots and pretty pillows, all gathered in a setting to happily co-exist. Blue and white always looks like a happy family in a room.

I love the blue and white. I have my Mother's collection of Blue Willow. I adore it mixed with fresh greens and a touch of red for the holidays. I always liked this painting you did for Anna.

I love the blue and white. One my desk is a single flower vase whereby I always have a single silk flower in it. Right now it's a deep lavender. So pretty.
I use to have a small collection of music boxes, but over the years I gave most of them away to people who really really like them. I enjoy the glint of happiness in someone's eyes when I give something away that is a part of me.

I'm going to have to buy those notecards- delftware is stunning- is there anything as unpretentiously prim as blue and white ceramics?!

Lovely! Memories - I first picked up delftware in Holland years ago. I still treasure them, mixed in with other blue and white I've collected.
