As we drove many miles and stopped to re-fuel along the way I noticed some funny dogs at rest stops and in many a window.  How fun for a dog to travel with the family which made me miss my buddy Bentley all the more.  Happy Friday to each of you.  Go ahead and roll that window down and have a great weekend.

This illustration was done for a fellow blogger who spotted my "pet story" post and sent me some photos of her little one with these dogs enjoying a summer day.  "Ain't life grand!"

I quickly did this one and just had to post it.  I love that those dogs look as if they are baby-sitting for her and if they could talk, this is what I think they would say,

"Nope, ya can't get in the pool now, not til Mom comes back from the store and besides there is not enough room in here for the three of us."
