articulate

pve design - artwork created for Pound Ridge Plume
We have a nightly ritual and I love tucking my 13 year old daughter in to bed at night.  One is never too old to be tucked in and kissed good-night.  It is a time where we can speak quietly one-on-one and I asked her if she could put my artwork into words, what would she say?  She said, It's "articulate, eloquent, elegant, neat" and all of those words made me smile.  If you had to use one word to describe my artwork, what would you say?

  1. Can I use 2 words? Whimsical yet realistic.

  3. I like those words...your work is truly articulate....you never miss a detail and that's why I love it when you show a photo and then your piece of art portraying that photo. I love to see how you take a little detail and work with it. Your daughter sounds so charming and lovely!

  4. Your work is welcoming. It draws one in, fixes them a spot of tea, pays the cushion next to you and says, "I'm so glad you came by."

I will email you for a quote...

  5. I'd also add that it has a friendliness, and somehow evokes both the essential and the better of the subject's qualities.

  6. How sweet and eloquent of your daughter...I still like to tuck my kids in when they are home.

Your work to me is meticulous and, yet, playful. Also, incredibly lovely!

Enjoy your day (do you think it will EVER warm up?) xoxo
