an egg cache

Yours truly at the tender age of 3 hunting and gathering an egg cache.
Easter has always been one of my most favorite holidays.
I blame it on the pretty artful eggs.
Check out some very inspiring eggs.
Is neon your thing?  I love these.
Maybe au natural is more your speed.  pretty purple egg.
I do love purple at Easter.  Found over here at le Creuset.
Seriously, you can't go wrong with black and white and silhouettes.  I better get started now.  I think I will paint my own pve designs this year.  Are you planning on having some pretty crafty eggs?

  2. Elizabeth,
There are other all natural recipes on the Le Crueset site. I do love that photo of me. Back then there really were not a lot of photos like today taken. Only on special occasions - or the sacred holidays!

  4. How special to have that photo. So sweet. I am not usually a purple person, but I do love that egg. Must go to Le Crueset site to see what else they suggest. Happy Hunting.

I'm loving those half color half white eggs...very cool. I'm being forced to think about Easter planning with all these great blog posts. Better get busy I guess.

  7. I love the idea of using spices and juices as natural "dye"! Saw some pretty eggs on Pinterest where different spices were used...really neat!
