Monday morning and part of what gets me going are my paints and the part that is fun for me, to paint in the color. I am going to share some of my favorite paints with you and brushes this week.
There is a chance we may have an early closing today at our schools due to a 90 percent chance of snow, which means this morning my full attention needs to be focused on finishing a few other works. well - painting that is.

I so admire your courage to express yourself. Really.
I just heard from two friends down in CT and the schools are closing. The snow only just started here five minutes ago but I don't mind I'm done outside for now.
I love seeing your work and a tad jealous I would love to be able to use watercoolors.
Enjoy this beautiful day!

This was fun to see the piece in a few different stages/views. Can't wait to hear what products you use. I'm getting back into watercolors from a long hiatus and curious to see what works for you.
It takes a great deal to become motivated this time of year! I commend you! Although, I imagine you have so many ideas floating around your head that you NEED to let them out! OL!

It's cool to see a bit of your painting process in these photos.
Divine colors and as always a delight!
I just love coming by and seeing what you are up to. It always brightens my day. I have been craving a store front for such a long time....it is never quite the right place or time here though, so it is so nice to dream while seeing this pretty shop you have illustrated. :)
Had to smile that your recent work for J. McLaughlin was for the Kansas City store. I'll keep an eye out for it next time we visit my in-laws!
The morning snow was simply beautiful....I was sad when it turned to rain.
Hope you had a productive day!
