I should really try skiing. There are some good slopes near where I live in Virginia. I might be able to master it easier than some other sports, such as tennis!
I am a skiier, and live across the river from the Catskills. It has never occured to me to try the slopes there, as I am more focused on the NY/MA resorts. Do you have any specific recommendations? Reggie

Not a skier.... would like to take up cross country skiing... Did that as a kid and loved it....
