pick your battle

Lately, everyone I meet seems to be fighting a hard battle and I am in awe of the kindness I witness.
True, each of us has to pick our battles but being kind to those who are fighting some battle truly does ring loud and clear especially in light of this Memorial Day Weekend.

Take a moment to express your kindness and to remember those that fought a hard battle for our freedom.

(Signing off for the three day weekend, back next tuesday.)

  4. What a wonderful message. I think sometimes I forget that people may be going through trying times when you don't know it. And, I think it does affect how people act or react.

I am going to remember to be patient, kind and understanding.

I so agree....I think I'm going to need a new pve of the house. :) Maybe we can slide Molly into this one! :) We'll chat later about this!

In the meantime, enjoy your long weekend!!! Bring on some sun!

  8. I find more and more that simple kindness is relatively easy to give (if I suspend my judgments) and both the receiver and I am blessed by the created oneness. Have a wonderful week-end. Mary

  12. i love this quote... it really is amazing/humbling to hear what is actually happening in people's lives. it reminds you that we are all, actually, vulnerable. even the ones that seem like they have it all tied up perfectly.
