landlubber

I have always had a love for the nautical look. A striped boat neck, linens, white bottoms, deck shoes and some sort of canvas tote are all quintessentially cruise worthy or not...depending on one's sea legs.
Quite a chic couple sporting such spiffy duds ready for any dock!
Do you bring along something fun on vacation, a festive happy little skirt.
Paired with a shirt or a little tank, this skirt would take me many places.
Perfect for those who are traveling South of the Border, right?
Are you on board for something sea worthy in your wardrobe or are you more of a land lubber when it comes to fashion?

You and me both - just love nautical style!! I'm looking for a new lightweight striped top because I need more than one - waiting for the ones at chance to restock!!

PVE - I had to smile since I just received not one, but two, nautically inspired striped tops from J. Crew yesterday! Planning to pair them with capris and ballet flats this spring. And with the warm weather tomorrow, spring might be here sooner than we think!

The weather here this week is sunny and warm(ish). It, combined with your classy drawings have put me in the mood the change out my closet for spring clothes. But, I guess I should wait a bit longer yet. I love navy and white together and anything nautical.
Best,

Hmmmm perhaps the Look Book should start to your wonderful illustrations!

Just wore their new pink and navy striped boat neck Catalina the other day. It was like walking on sunshine!

posted too soon... meant to say the look book should start to feature some of your illustrations. Nothing like leaving out a word or two!

Love the seaworthy clothing, not big on the sea...although we do go boating all the time in the summer.

I'd say that fully half of Mrs. E.'s sweaters are striped. I pack the sailor's shirts for trips to the beach.

Must be the weather, but I'm aching to break out the white trousers and stripes! That would include my red and white striped espadrilles....

Janet-
The Sandals look like Bernardo sandals but I will ask, the clothes are from J.McLaughlin - my client and wonderful sponsor.

I've always loved the nautical look...but now that I live near the water, it seems even more prevalent in my wardrobe.

Can't wait to get back on the water!!

Your drawings are so much more inviting than the photos! Love the nautical look on the Mrs. We hit St. James and J.McLaughlins on Madison for the look. Picasso could really pull it off, I just wish I looked as good in a boat neck!

I am such a sucker for nautical clothing. Not sure what there is about it, but I love it all!

Look at these shoes that Maryland Pink and Green blogged about. They go hand-in-hand (foot-in-foot) with your post! http://marylandpinkandgreen.blogspot.com/2011/02/nautical-spring.html
