Light up - give-away

Let the fun and games begin. There are certain momentous occasions along with landmarks that not only play a role in shaping our memories, they are one part history and then just pure joy. The "lighting" of the New York Holiday Tree at Rock Center for me marks the start of "bright lights, big city and holiday fun!"

    YAY! Christmas.... lovely for a Monday - thankyou. We have heavy snow forecast here so not much will get done for a while... but hey... it's seasonal !!!

    I love this one so much Patricia! You really capture the occassion with movement and whimsey...love it!

    Too bad we missed the BG windows and the lighting of the tree...it was being craned into place when we were there.

    I imagine the excitement of your new bath and studio is growing by the moment...enjoy :)

    Oh, this illustration is so cozy and full of holiday cheer. It's lovely! I always feel more in the spirit when I see NYC during Christmas. Although I did miss the lighting of the tree, I do hope to get there in the next couple of weeks...Going now to see your giveaway!

    The Holiday windows and decorations down Fifth Avenue are some of my most cherished childhood memories and I can't wait to take the boys this year!

    Starting to decorate after Thanksgiving, shopping for German and Polish delicacies in the city and certainly visiting the tree at Rockefeller Center.
