Spooky music was playing and treats at the ready.
The torches were lit up and down the drive-way to ward off any evil spirits and vampires.

We had a small jack-o-lantern and an electric pumpkin light in the window.
My Mom gave this electric light to me years ago. All it requires is an outlet.
There is something to be said for no carving, no mess.
I am not lazy, just busy - and this holiday seems to come and go so fast, that I barely have the chance to hang the skeleton and bring out the rats, which by the way are on the steps, hiding.
Happy Halloween to each of you!
Your decorations look great - scary and fun at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a Happy Halloween! :)
how brilliant, over here we don't do so much decorating for Haloween.
ReplyDeleteThose steps look like a pretty scary climb!!! You certainly have built in excercise. I have a couple of scary-looking terra cotta pumpkins so I don't have to do any carving either. I do always get several real pumpkins and hope they last until Thanksgiving.

I love celebrating holidays virtually and see what others do to dress up their homes... we just barely got the pumpkin carved in time! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteWhew, I was beginning to feel a tiny bit guilty for not carving! These decorations are great and love the staircase angle you captured!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be scared stiff at your door. Enjoy and Happy Halloween to you! xo
ReplyDelete...gotta say I read one of the funniest lines you ever wrote in this post ..."I didn't have time to hang out the skeletons and the rats". Why not, were you in the kitchen mixing up some Monster Mash???
