Royal treatment

As a Mother, I truly believe that all mothers deserve to be treated royally everyday.
Do you have something special planned for your mother on Mother's day. Create a day full of surprises, full of good things. Plan a simply marvelous day dedicated to your Mother!

Pay homage to her for giving you this life.
Bow, curtsy and give honor to all Queen Mums.
What kind of royal treatment would you consider to be grand?

  1. I will think lovingly of my own precious Mom and Mom-in-law-then visit my former Mom-in-law-so you see I am thrice blessed.

  2. Debra-
I wish we lived nearby, we could have a royal walk and scheme our Mother's day plans.

  3. Good morning, PVE!
What a great picture of the Queen.
The look on her face, her surroudings are exquisite.
I've been taking care of my mom who is aging. It's quite a challenge.

  4. Barbara,
You are a wonderful daughter to take care of your aging Mom. Treat her royally, even if some days can be a challenge.
    (I am cheering you on...)

  5. We celebrated Mother's Day last Sunday as I'll be gone this Sunday. My son made me a card that said, "be the world's best queen". That just cracked me up, I'm trying, I'm trying!

And for my mom, leaving a nice pile of gifts and flowers. Mothers do rule. Janell

  6. I think for Mother's Day I would like to do absolutely nothing! But, that is not going to happen as it is senior prom weekend, so I will have the joy of all the festivities and then be "treated" to a sleepless night of waiting up!

  7. My hat go off to mothers everyday- a tough job, that is paid with love and so many rewards in return. I will spend a quiet day with my mom- going out for dinner and setting up her patio garden for her. What are your plans? xo

  8. A big sleep in and breakfast in bed would be grand. Hopefully my boys'culinary skills have developed since last year, when breakfast consisted of an enormous glass of red wine : )

  9. Pure and utter slothdom (is that a word?)! No responsibility to house work, people or yard! That's what I plan to do and encourage my own Mother to do the same (she won't be able to do it). Hope you are well.

  13. I need to go shopping ASAP for my Mom! Although I think she is priceless and no matter what I do for her, the time I spend with her or the things I buy her can make up for the love she has given me my whole life.

  17. this is a nice reminder to remember MY mother...not just that my kids remember me. i don't see my mom that often so sometimes she is forgotten.

    treated royally?
a nap....hot coffee....hot bath...home made crafts for me...a family walk for ice cream....easy bedtime....cuddle on the couch with a movie and my husband.
    i doubt that will happen.
but it sounds really nice. :)
