jade*ite
image from Carlee - Deliciously Organized
If this office were mine, even on my most jaded of days, I would immediately feel pretty swell walking into that space, all so deliciously organized. It sure beats the boring grey cubicle that I had during one of my New York design posts.
How about you, what color would make you feel a little less jaded and all the more enthusiastic about getting down to business?
Do you have a signature color or one that you are craving now?
So funny that you should be posting about this colour - I have been loving it too lately!!! It is a hard colour to find in fabric though as I have been searching for it...even Designers Guild doesn't quite have the right shade!!
ReplyDeleteHope you are well.

Thank you for the mention. This space is divine, from the colors to the set up, it's gorgeous. I think I could get a lot done in this space! And I absolutely love the huge inspiration board behind the desk!
ReplyDeletethat space is fabulous! i have a couple of turquoise/green accents in my office but this space really pulls it together! love the jadeite on the shelves :)
ReplyDeleteWas just thinking that those Christopher Spitzmiller lamps I've been wanting for the living room should be just this hue.
ReplyDeleteThis also makes me want to straighten my desk.
I love any color that reminds me of the sea!! Carla
ReplyDeleteMy office color is deeper, more the color of malachite. And someday soon, when all of the bath remodel mess has moved out, I will reclaim it with a vengeance. As the cable guy said when he walked into my room, "Wow, it looks like one of those sets of those old Victorian sets you see on those BBC things." Youth....
ReplyDeleteMy introduction to jade was jewelry on very tanned teenage hands, neck and wrists. Wishing now that regardless of how wonderful that looked I'd used sunscreen. Well, I digressed.
ReplyDeleteI once entered jade bath, it was bubbly fun.
Probably pink...it is amazing what a space can do to affect your mood. It is one of the reasons I love interior design. Janell
ReplyDeleteLove this shade Patricia! Beautiful image! My office/ den is in a deep blue with creams, tans. My desk may end up painted in cream.
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog and love your artistry! What a talent you possess!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I will be back! :)
Love the color, I always move towards greens but I'm really loving blues these days! Have a wonderful Thursday!
ReplyDeleteLove that office. My home office is painted a deep plum but a big window and lots of white keep it from feeling dark. I absolutely love it. Too bad my work office is beige and boring!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous color! I'm seeing that color paired with coral a lot and I really like the two together (I wouldn't have in the past, but after seeing, it looks great). Right now, I'm really liking apple green. It's the color of my kitchen and is so cheerful and inviting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of color in the rest of my house but prefer my office to be more neutral. Helps me to focus on the project at hand. And it's often so cluttery, all that beauty would be lost to me anyway!
This is gorgeous...I could definitely get some work done here...properly attired of course!
ReplyDeleteA wonderfully organized space would certainly make any room more beautiful. Favorites, celedon green, turquoise, and a bit of black.
ReplyDeleteHave a good one,
BarG
wow...i would be one happy camper!!
ReplyDeleteJust found your beautiful blog. This is wonderful office space, so organized - how much productive this would make me! I'll be following along and will be back soon.

i'm loving all colour lately, i'm evolving from neutrals! jxx
ReplyDeleteI can get this organized, staying that way is the problem. So so pretty.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I'm all about the orange. I love it's punch and the way it stands up and says, "Hey you! Look at me!"
ReplyDeletelove that room and I love Carlees blog!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm in need of something soothing these days...soft blues, greens and whites! But love this image and would be so happy if I could ever have an office that look this pulled together. Don't think it's ever going to happen. Thanks for you sweet comments today. I really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteLove that Jade but right now I'm all about orange for the pop.
ReplyDeleteI take this room! I would be humming every time the bills needed to be paid!
ReplyDeleteAlways love coming here my friend.
I don't know why you were not on my blog roll. But you are now! And in a couple of weeks you will see your drawing - presented my way! (:
Much fondness,
Mon
Turquoise has been working on me lately - love the shade of blue that pops. Also, I cannot resist a purple something or another. :)
ReplyDeleteOh to be deliciously organized...my life long quest! Thanks for the link, as I clearly need it!
ReplyDeleteAs long as it's color, I'm happy!
ReplyDeleteRed purple green gold. Yum.
Absolutely gorgeous!
