Just added to my etsy shop, an all the best notecard, (box of eight)- an image of an old world shop ~"Step inside this rare and vintage book shop filled to the ceiling with "All the Best" out of print books. Blank inside for your own all the best personal greeting.
Charming!
ReplyDeleteI imagine this book shop as being very quaint inside with wonderfully upholstered chairs and loveseats, carved woodwork-and just a slight musty scent in the air from all of the old books. And tea water at the ready with some tasty biscuits.
ReplyDeleteMy Do-Eared Pages-
ReplyDeleteYes, the charm would be all mine to have you inside that book shop perusing the ailes and shelves for interesting bits, secretly dog-earring pages...

Debra,
Yes, I can smell it now, I miss those rare shops - there are still a few left, but not many. They would even have a quirky clerk, knowing every book like one of his very own. Wing back chairs - a bit tattered but nonetheless, inviting visitors and a good book.
