creative collections -1

"Ask and you shall receive" - I am overwhelmed by this incredible inspiration book circa 1995 sent to me by this gal. A former client and now a blogger and friend. Her philosophy is to add a little "Zhush" to your life.
I see shoes, orchids, candles, a child, chocolate, pretty legs and arms. I feel texture, shine, warmth, creativity. I smell goodness.
Babies, bags, not necessarily in any order, just symbolic of a wild life with a little gilt around the edges.
"You can improve your life expectancy by making changes today in how choose to live."
I see Zhush has added a little dose of Zen order. Thanks so much for sharing these
Authentic Inspirations. Creative Collections to be continued. Let's radiate, inspire and live an artful life.

  2. I too have a black big binder that houses all my collective images, it is funny how my range of inspirations has not really changed over the years, just evolved a bit!

    I like the folder,

  9. Now I want to do this, too. And I feel like the Quadrille fabric underneath the book is the universe's way of saying that one of their patterns is the right choice for my dining room. Kismet.

  10. Hi! The pattern is by China Seas! I love it! Funny to think my inspiration pics were done in a time before blogs and the internet as we know it today. Who would have thought?

  14. I have been doing inspirational books for many years, some are still around, some have bitten the dust so to speak...
Right now it's more about fabrics, well designed pieces of all sorts, and a little fashion...

  17. While I probably shouldn't admit to this, I have similar books. It started out as a manila folder and then grew into two black leather bound sketch books.

When I ge ta lull or need a bit style direction I flip through it. Now with the blogging world we have "star" and links at our disposal and it's all online.
