I also love pretty papers. Can you stand these pretty packages?
Here's how they arrived, stacked, tied with a bit of hemp twine.
I rather fancy the notion of "sitting around and eating bon bons or bits of chocolate" - Do you allow yourself a little treat? Bar none, these are a special treat, all part of my new year's plan to be good to myself. Can you tell that I have a thing for crafty types.
A treat for both the palate and the eye.
ReplyDeleteI saw these on Melissa's site and thought they were so neat! I must try one - if they're as good as the packaging, I bet they taste amazing!
ReplyDeleteJMW-

ReplyDeleteall i can say is yummmmm!
ReplyDeleteso jealous.
+ they are beautiful to boot.
I'm chomping on a fleur de sel caramel right now, so the answer to your question would be yes. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just love the presentation of the bars!! I would save that paper and figure a way to repurpose it (which is why I'll likely wind-up on that show Hoarders one of these days!)
I too saw these on M's blog. I love the papers and do enjoy a taste of dark chocolate-and in moderation-it's good for you. I especially like a little square with a glass of wine. Thanks for the tip. I think I will go take a peak.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! And did someone say 'fleur de sel caramel'? Excuse my while I place my order... tIO x
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to unwrap them!! I might order some for a hostess gift. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteI admired them chez elle as well. They are the Claus Porto of chocolate bars!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute, what a great present as a hostess gift for the chocolate lover.
ReplyDeleteI do like a wee bit of good chocolate on occasion and a mocha latte!
ReplyDeleteI saw these on Melissa's site too! I think they look fabulous. Thanks for the reminder. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletemmmm....I could use a bit o' chocolat right about now!

ReplyDeleteI need some of those :)
ReplyDeletePatricia I'll get to analyzing your colours hopefully early next week! Thanks for the info!
Wow, yes I love chocolates and yes the paper is gorgeous!A treat to savor....
ReplyDeleteYes, we can tell. Were these the tasty chocolates you let us sample the other day? So good!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like it would be impossible NOT to stop and relish the moment, when the chocolates are wrapped so beautifully. No absent-minded noming, like with leftover Christmas Hershey's kisses.
ReplyDeleteChocolate is my thing. Love it. BTW, we made our cocoa after school yesterday thanks to your inspiration. L was so happy. And I slaved over a lemon icebox pie last night for my husband because citrus is his thing but I'd rather chocolate any day. So, maybe this weekend it will be chocolate. I'll let you know how it turns out. Precious packaging on your bars!

Gwen,
ReplyDeleteI have "3" fresh meyer lemons waiting to be squeezed for some sort of lemony trifle....perhaps a lemon chiffon pie or lemon meringue. I perfected my meringue last year after a series of tests.
Now, see what you did, you have me craving lemon!
Pucker up!!

I just bought these at Dean & Deluca while in the city. The packaging caught my eye. They are great. Loving your posts as always. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteDid you hear that said tastemakers cutiepie Monty helped himself to a whole bar of the dark chocolate resulting in a stomach pumping? Poor lil Montster. He just couldn't resist that fine packaging either...XXOO
ReplyDeleteYUM! And FABULOUS!
